Scope and Overall Responsibility:
- Reports directly to the CEO
- Manage the financial system, ensuring maximum productivity and that it meets the business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Accounting, Financial Systems, and Financial Controls
- Oversee the continuous improvement of Accounting and Financial Processes and the development of the team with the goal to achieve best practices and optimal output.
- Conduct fixed asset inventory for the adjustment of balance sheet and amortization values
- Enhance reporting
- Engage in year-end activities
- Responsible for leases and annual returns
- Full cycle accounting and preparation of monthly and yearly financial statements with working papers
- Manage accounts payable and receivables
- Manage monthly reporting for Cardiac doctors for purposes of compensation
- Manage reporting for group retirement savings plan and the deferred profit-sharing plan
- Responsible for the delivery of costs effective and efficient accounting and financial systems, policies, and processes that meet the current and future business requirements of the company
- Oversee the External Audit, review and analyze results and recommend for approval the Audited Financial Statements
- Oversee the Cash Management function, including banking relationships.
- Support senior management team with business analysis and support
- Cash and Risk Management
- Manage ongoing banking relationships for maximum efficiency
Develop cash flow forecasting and maintain a long-term cash forecast
- Manage ongoing banking relationships for maximum efficiency
- Management Reporting
- Responsible for Financial Management Reporting for the Company Ensure financial management reporting tolls and processes are in place to support the ongoing and future needs of the business
- Develop and prepare a monthly Management Reporting Package
- Present monthly and year-to-date financials with acing analysis of results Develop regular reporting and analysis, including key metrics reports, and conduct ad hoc financial analysis as required
- Leadership
- Develop Finance and Accounting team goals that are fully aligned with the company’s goals
- Provide coaching, guidance, and support, set professional development plans to assist employees to reach their full potential through the Performance Management process.

- Budgeting and Financial Modeling
- Provide ongoing financial modeling and analysis expertise to business partners.
- Lead the financial modeling and analysis to support the development of long term strategic initiatives and business plans
Qualifications include:
- Undergraduate degree with accounting designation (CPA, CA, or equivalent)
- 10 years working knowledge in accounting and finance with at least 4 years of supervisory experience.
- Expert knowledge of Great Plains software is a requirement
- Sound knowledge compliance regulations for organizations working within the for-profit sector
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, a collaborative style, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work effectively within time constraints
- Knowledge of Financial, ERP systems, ADP
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
