We are looking for an Assistant Controller to lead and mentor its team of property accountants.
The primary objective of this position is to build an amazing team to accomplish amazing things. The ideal candidate must have a track record of success in a leadership role and a strong technical foundation in full- cycle property accounting. Position Summary:
This financial leader in the Accounting & Finance Team will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting and accounting administration for their property management portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the timely preparation of monthly financial reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders, including working papers, account reconciliations, adjustments, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasts.
- Supervise, mentor and coach a team of property
- Create an employee experience that fosters individualized career growth and compliments the needs of the organization.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for corporate-level

- Oversee the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting
- Oversee the annual year-end process and commercial operating cost calculations and

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Completion of a professional accounting designation (CPA).
- Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive full-cycle accounting
- Experience in real estate accounting and Yardi is considered an
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Word and Outlook).
