Description
We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join the Wesbell Technologies team in Edmonton, AB and perform all tasks required to deliver projects on time and on budget. Directly reporting to the Project Manager, the successful candidate will oversee material handling, onsite job requirements, subcontracting and field crews and dedicate themselves to projects across Alberta and BC.
Requirements:
- Tracking materials from different sources
- Ordering materials
- Finding subcontractors required for outsourced work
- Sorting and keeping organized job paperwork
- Creation of quotes and budget entries
- Interacting with internal teams and clients to provide updates and gather information
- Site visits as needed (very rare)
- Participating and leading process projects
- Ensuring closure of tasks once started and assigned this may require multiple emails and calls to ensure the task is closed off
- Updating multiple spreadsheets on tasks completed and changing dates
Qualifications:
- Integrity and Honesty
- Drivers License and Reliable Vehicle (needs to work in office in Acheson)
- High School Completion
- Good Written and Verbal English
- Critical Thinking
- Self-starter
- Can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
- Ability to identify and prioritize items in the work queue
- Proficient in MS office Suite and computer functions
- Trainable
- Ability to adapt as needed
- Ability to work in both a rough construction environment but also a business environment as needed
- Some technical background or construction background
- Post secondary education
- Ability or experience reading drawings
- Understands concepts of project management (budgets/planning/changes/closure)
