Responsibilities:

  • In this role you will manage the business in Saskatchewan and strategically grow accounts, and source new business opportunities while providing an exceptional level of sales acumen and customer service to ensure achievement of your sales goals and your KPIs re: client meetings.
  • Your focus is to build sustainable relationships with key customers, both retail outlets and medical professionals (prescribers and influencers) by providing specialty brand and category education.
  • Connecting the medical prescription to a dealer is a key success factor, so you must have excellent communication skills to be able to consult with clients and provide clear advice on how to better use the products to enhance their business.
  • Work with a variety of specialized healthcare professionals, dealers, retailers, pharmacists, and speciality clinics to grow and enhance sales of prescribed products.
  • Detail, educate and train customers such as vascular surgeons, general surgeons, plastic surgeons, dermatologists, phlebologists, and nurses.
  • Continuously prospect for new business and increase productivity of territory while meeting/exceeding annual sales and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to manage conferences, educational seminars, and customer events that raise awareness of the category and provide technical product training and education.

Qualifications

  • University degree and outside sales experience in the healthcare industry with a proven track record of previous success exceeding specific and targeted metrics.
  • This role is well suited for an energetic people-person, a relationship builder, and a strategic communicator capable of creating value, delivering personalized service, and building customer and brand satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ability to build and maintain a call pattern to ensure maximum exposure to key markets and segments.
